@starrwulfe Problems, I emailed help@micro.blog. After I changed to a custom domain stuff stopped working. Others experienced similar so I'm still happy with my migration from Wordpress.
I blogged about it, adapting text from my email. :)

@bazbt3 Where did all the replies go to after I moved my domain here??
@manton Thankyou, and all my very best wishes for 2025.
(I'm going through the help pages as and when I need them).
@manton Hi. Is there a way to remove my interest from the list?
I'm part-way through the Micro.blog 10 day trial and already decided to migrate my blog here from a self-hosted Wordpress, pointed my domain here, wrote blog posts here…
@bazbt3 I'd worried that the simple top-level redirect would break all the existing links out there, but no.
It's not an ideal solution is it.
@bazbt3 Well All I've accomplished since this post is to make a redirect from my current blog host to here. The domain host, another company, requires that I temporarily reset the domain records to their site, including email. Nope, no no nonono, no. If I ever get around to it I'll use the services of another company to manage that change.
💬 <- this emoji alone doesn't add a reply at least to the quotes discover feed, it looks like only adding a block quote does that.
So much to learn!
…I should have added a 💬 emoji shouldn't I.
D'oh!!
(I used all 300 characters squeezing the post a bit so it's arrive here in-truncated).
I post a weekly #QuoteSunday hashtag at appdot.net on Mastodon, a thing I've carried over from the defunct app.net network. There's no set theme.
Without a micro.blog boost feature I've no way of knowing if anyone at micro.blog can see even this reply to my own post.
Technology eh.
@bazbt3 Incidentally, my lists are wishlists, more indicative of a stalled process than actually reading. Ahhh… the curse of social media.
@starrwulfe Until I started messing with a couple of subreddits I inherited I'd never touched CSS - the implications seemed actually scary to me.
And wow, every time I've searched for help here it's been easy to understand - a refreshing change to not need to also read words I don't understand. :)
@starrwulfe Following up my issue with the limited number of posts in my blog, I found all* I had to do was force a rebuild of the blog from the Log page.
From the Help Centre (in 2022!): Posts from WordPress import not showing up in archive.
(I hope Markdown works in replies).
@fabio Thanks. :) I'm currently crossposting from here to Mastodon and to Bluesky. It's ridiculous isn't it.
(Not sure where this experiment is going yet).
@starrwulfe Thanks! There's a lot to like, but right now I'm just messing about with what's available.
I found out that importing a blog via RSS instead of an XML file limits the number of posts to one page.
Themes are odd, especially how page navigation simply doesn't appear often on mobile.
@heyloura Thankyou. You know when something arises that changes your view of 'things'? Some guy posts about link rot and here I am. :)
@larand Cheers Larry. I'm currently in the 'move slowly and break things' phase. :)
Being critical: I'd have preferred to see some of the post text in the Mastodon timeline, and the formatting is a little 'off' on my tiny screen (- centred title?).
Suppose I'd better look at the post itself.
@bazbt3 I do like the cross-platform comment integration.

@bazbt3.bsky.social Heh, I am already following you. I've probably been back 2 weeks, and so probably missed your last post there. Silly Baz. :)
@bazbt3.bsky.social I did indeed find you via that tag, thanks for keeping it alive. :)
@bazbt3.appdot.net.ap.brid.gy Well, the Mastodon hashtag formatting doesn't transfer here at all well does it. :/
@camijustice.bsky.social Hey Camryn, is there anyone I can ask for permission to smirk about the karma headed Pickens' way in this situation? Not his injury, I'm not that petty. :)
@bazbt3.bsky.social Apologies for the typo. I meant to say to form the Baltimore ratbirds, sorry.
@bazbt3.bsky.social Absolutely. And Al Lerner, instrumental in Modell's decision.
